Therapeutic pillows - "Heallow-Pillow" - recommendation

For the last two years, the therapeutic pillows "Heallow-Pillow" set exists in daily use in wards of rehabilitation and physiotherapy in the medical center of Tel-Hashomer, as well as in wards of occupational therapy.

The use in pillows - for cold therapy and heat therapy - is being done in variable physiotherapeutic treatments: upper back and neck pains, lower back pain, joints like knee, ankle and shoulder and as preparation for palm rehabilitation treatments.

Pillows assist in releasing sprained muscles, relieving pains, help to stimulate blood circulation and to soften tissues before treatment and after it.

The entrance of these pillows to fluent work was accepted with open arms by treatment teams in favor of many advantages:

- Conformity: conforms perfectly to the shape of limb

- Dual purpose: constitutes a source of both heat and cold

- Simplicity: easy to use and store

- Convenience: hands-free use for uninterrupted activity

- Economical: low wear and tear and long term use

- User-friendly: pleasant to touch, fragrant and soothing

- Availability: can be used whenever there is a microwave

After the first year of use, in which the pillows were tested and proved to be efficient and a great assistance to the therapists, we turned to "Heallow-Pillow" company in a request to develop additional designs that fit together with physiotherapists work, such as the palm pillow and the joints pillow.

The development of these additional products was made in collaboration and with the professional advice of therapists staff.

Sincerely,

Sharon Hanania
